INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The first of Indiana’s automatic taxpayer refund checks could be on their way as early as next month.
Governor Holcomb said people who filed both their 2020 and 2021 tax returns and gave their direct deposit information to the state will get their checks first.
The checks will be $125 per person or $250 for couples.
If you don’t have a direct deposit on file with the state, the governor says Indiana will start writing paper checks sometime in late July or early August.
