MOORESVILLE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A Morgan County 911 dispatcher is in jail and looking at child pornography charges.
Indiana State Police say that 23-year-old Luke Jobes from Paragon was arrested yesterday.
There are no specifics as to the charges, but investigators say they focused on Jobes back in December after getting a tip in another case.
In addition to being a 911 dispatcher, Jobe is a volunteer firefighter in Paragon.

On Thursday, February 17, 2022, a Morgan County 911 Dispatcher and Paragon Volunteer Fire Fighter was arrested for possession of child pornography. A criminal investigation was started on December 2, 2021, when Trooper Robert Whyte and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) detectives gained information from a previous investigation that Luke A. Jobes, a 23-year-old Male from Paragon had possession of Child Pornography.
After a thorough investigation which included interviews and search warrants, Trooper Whyte submitted charging documents to the Morgan County Prosecutors Office on Tuesday, February 14, 2022. An arrest warrant was issued for Jobes who was booked into the Morgan County Jail on the following charge,
Possession of Child Pornography, Level 6 Felony

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
