MUNCIE, Ind. (ADAMS) – There are plans to possibly convert Muncie’s old GM plant into a solar farm.
Muncie’s city council last week endorsed plans to add solar panels to the 53 acres that used to be a transmission plant.
GM closed the facility in 2006 and the buildings have all been torn down.
There’s no word just when work could begin on the solar farm, or just how much it will cost.
