HUNTINGTON, Ind. (ADAMS) – Two Huntington University coaches are on leave after being accused of abuse. Lauren Johnson and Curtis Hines and have been named in a federal lawsuit, as well as the track and cross country programs.
WANE-TV reports that the lawsuit claims student-athletes were sexually abused and given unknown pills and injections.
Huntington University says the head coach of their track and field team, Austin Roark, will also lead the cross country time while the other coaches are being investigated.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Two former Huntington University cross country and track runners are suing the private Fort Wayne university in federal court, saying they were doped, sexually assaulted, and raped by a coach.
WANE-TV reports on the suit that says school officials and other coaches allowed the abuse to happen.
Former coach Nicholas Johnson and current coach Lauren Johnson are named in the lawsuit along with assistant coach Curtis Hines. The university, the board of trustees, and several unnamed administrators are also defendants in the case, according to reporting.
