FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Police say that an arrest has been made in a stabbing that left a man with critical injuries.
Police say that last Tuesday morning, two men initially got into an argument at the Marathon station on South Anthony.
Just after 10 a.m., police were called when one of the men stabbed the other in his upper torso in the parking lot.
Police now believe that it was Kevin Coleman that stabbed the other man. He was arrested on Friday in Alabama. He is charged with Aggravated Battery.
The victim’s current condition is unknown.

On July 15th, 2022, Kevin Leon Coleman was taken into custody without incident in Uniontown, Alabama with the help of US Marshalls and Alabama Law Enforcement. Coleman was wanted in connection to a stabbing in Fort Wayne that occurred at 5404 S. Anthony Blvd. on 07/12/2022.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police say a man is in critical condition after being stabbed at a local gas station.
Police say that two men initially got into an argument at the Marathon station on South Anthony.
Just after 10 a.m., police were called when one of the men stabbed the other in his upper torso in the parking lot.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where doctors said his injuries were life-threatening. Police are now asking anyone with information to come forward.

The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred today, July 12th, 2022 at approximately 10:12am at 5400 S. Anthony Blvd. (Marathon Gas Station). Preliminary information indicates that two adult males were having a verbal argument inside the gas station. The argument continued as the gentlemen exited the gas station onto the parking lot. As the suspect got into his vehicle to leave, he stopped his vehicle, got out, and stabbed the victim in the upper torso area. The suspect then fled the area in his vehicle.
The victim remained on scene with non-life threatening injuries. The victim was transported by the Three River Ambulance Authority to a local hospital. While at the hospital the victim was downgraded to life-threatening condition by medical personnel.
