FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – It could be a long month for folks in Fort Wayne who are dealing with the last of their slow garbage service.
The City this week said recycling collections will be a week-by-week decision.
Fort Wayne has been struggling with slow, late, or non-existent garbage and recycling collection for years with its current garbage company Red River Waste Solutions.
Red River is being replaced at the end of the month, but Fort Wayne leaders say service this month may be the worst yet.
A City spokesman said they will update people on next week’s garbage and recycling plan on Monday.
