FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The suspect in last week’s fire at a Fort Wayne Kroger is accused of lighting at least three other fires, including two on the same day.
Prosecutors in Allen County yesterday charged Brad Fair the Second with four counts of arson.
Investigators say in addition to last Monday’s fire at the Kroger, Fair lit fires inside the bathrooms at a local Subway and a local Arby’s on the same day.
Investigators say he also lit a fire at the county’s criminal justice center about two weeks ago.
The Southgate Kroger is set to reopen today.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – There is a search for whoever lit a bag of charcoal on fire at a Fort Wayne Kroger. It happened just before 4:30 yesterday afternoon at the store on Pettit Avenue.
Store managers say the man walked into the store, lit a bag of charcoal on fire, then ran out.
The charcoal started to burn and that kicked on the store’s sprinkler system. Fort Wayne firefighters say the store suffered from serious smoke and water damage, it was closed as of yesterday evening.
Police say the fire was captured on the store’s security cameras, though they have not yet made the video public.
