WHITLEY CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced intermittent lane closures on U.S. 30 in both directions between S.R. 9 and S.R. 5.
Crews will be replacing pipes and paving the stretch of road.
Work is scheduled to start on or after April 25 and is expected to wrap up by mid-September. From approximately June 22 to June 29, crews will be paving during the overnight hours from Lincolnway to S.R. 9. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the work, there will be a speed limit in place of 45 mph, as well as a width restriction of 15 feet.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
