GRANT CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that S.R. 5 near Van Buren will close next week.
Bridge construction between E 300 N and E 400 N is scheduled to begin on or after March 14. Work is expected to last until July.
During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of S.R. 5, I-69 and S.R. 18, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
