UPDATE (March 8, 2022):
Police in Fort Wayne are looking for what went wrong with their emergency alert system over the weekend.

Some residents received confusing alerts issued by police on devices. One message was similar to mixed emergency message alerts that have happened in the past.
And as in the past, Fort Wayne police say they were mistakenly sent.
No one is saying where the boy went although initially, police believed he may have been with his father.
Fort Wayne Police are not saying if there’s any further investigation.
