FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police say that a woman is in critical condition after she was shot late last night. Police were called after she drove herself to Parkview Hospital on Randallia Drive seeking medical treatment for gunshots to her abdomen and leg.
She was transferred for surgery and unable to give either police or doctors any information.

On Sunday, 11/07/2021, at approximately11:50 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department dispatch received a call from the staff at Parkview Hospital on Randallia Drive. They reported a shooting victim just arrived at their emergency room via private conveyance. Officers arrived at the hospital and were informed the female/adult victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to her abdomen and leg. The medical staff advised the victim was going to be transferred to another local hospital for surgery reference life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary information indicates the victim drove herself to the emergency room seeking medical treatment. She was unable to provide where the shooting occurred or give any suspect information upon arriving at the emergency room.
