FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Parents in one Fort Wayne-area school district will have a new set of rules for their school board meetings if they are ever allowed to speak at school board meetings again.
The Northwest Allen County School Board last night talked about new limits on public and parental comments.
The board wants to ban threats, intimidation, and even parents who raise their voices.
The new policy would also limit public comments to just 30 minutes per meeting, and could possibly cut some people out altogether. Northwest Allen County’s school board started meeting online after parents started protesting the district’s mask rules earlier this school year.
