WASHINGTON D.C. (ADAMS) – The FDA is aiming to approve Pfizer’s COVID vaccine beyond emergency use this week.
Surgeon General Vivek Murthy believes that will lead to more mandates.
He told Fox News some universities, businesses, and hospitals are waiting for the formal okay before requiring vaccinations. Once the FDA takes action, Pfizer is planning to quickly ask for approval of a third dose.
Those booster shots are expected to begin on September 20th.
