INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – An anti-bullying bill is before the Indiana Senate after being approved by the Senate Education and Career Development Committee.
The bill would require school districts to transfer either a bully or their victim to a different school. State Representative Vernon Smith is the bill’s sponsor.
The Gary Democrat has been trying to get a hearing on it for five years. He says the bill gives priority to the bullying victim.
