BOB & TOM Test Kitchen – Cuppa, Cuppa, Cuppa with Hooker the Cooker

Cuppa Cuppa Pear Cobbler – episode 14 1 can salted caramel pears 1 cup flour 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1/2 cup Heath bits 1 egg Preheat the oven to 350. Yes, before you start. I’ll wait. Grease your baking dish with butter, cooking spray, or whatever is already in your hand… and safe to eat. Now the technique. Dump ALL the ingredients into a large bowl. It doesn’t matter what order. I’ll say it again because someone in the comments will ask: it DOES NOT MATTER. Nobody is grading you. Mix it until it looks like it belongs together. If you’re reaching for a stand mixer, put it back. This recipe is based on a Dolly Parton line from Steel Magnolias, and she did not become a legend by overcomplicating a cobbler. Pour it into your baking dish and scrape the bowl. Bake at 350 until gold and bubbly. I can’t give you an exact time, because “gold and bubbly” is a look, not a number. Trust your eyes. Serve warm with ice cream to cut the sweetness. And yes, it’s very sweet. That’s a feature, not a flaw.
