INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – President Donald Trump has approved a major disaster declaration for the state of Indiana after severe, historic storms flooded much of the state.
Governor Mike Braun says Trump approved the declaration yesterday, less than a week after he requested it. It will release millions of federal funding dollars to the Hoosier state to help recovery efforts. Braun called the federal help “critical support.”
