FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation says that the 10 splash pads and the Water Rill at Promenade Park will close for the season on Thursday, October 1, marking the end of another summer of free water play.
As the season changes, there are still many ways to enjoy Fort Wayne’s Parks and Recreation offerings. Year-round opportunities include exploring park trails, the Lindenwood Nature Preserve, visiting the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, participating in recreation programs, connecting with others at our four community centers and playgrounds and attending seasonal events throughout the city.
