FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – General Motors has produced its 11 millionth pickup truck at its Fort Wayne Assembly plant.
Governor Mike Braun joined employees to celebrate the milestone yesterday and said it’s “a testament to the hardworking Hoosiers at Fort Wayne Assembly who show up every day to build world-class vehicles.”
GM employee Ken Zawisa purchased the truck and traveled to the plant from Summit City, and said he was proud that they’ve built that many trucks. The plant builds the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.
