MOORESVILLE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Captain Seth Koval of Mooresville is among the six soldiers who were killed in a military plane crash on Thursday in Iraq.
Koval was 38-years-old and enlisted in the Air Force in 2006 as a machinist in the Indiana National Guard’s 122nd Fighter Wing. He later transferred from the Indiana Air National Guard to the Ohio Air National Guard in 2017 and military officials in that state say he most recently lived in Stoutsville, southeast of Columbus. In his 19-year military career, Koval flew 443 combat hours along with 2,076 total hours.
