INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Supreme Court has upheld the COVID-19 immunity for hospitals and medical providers.
They ruled unanimously that they cannot be held liable for complications that developed when they were treating patients with COVID-19. The estate of Elmer Waggoner filed a lawsuit seeking damages, with his wife alleging negligence by over 80 hospitals, doctors, and other health providers.
