FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Inspire Neighborhoods Conference is now accepting speaker and award applications for the 2026 conference, tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 11, at Electric Works, 1020 Swinney Ave.
Applications are online and are due March 31 for speakers and June 30 for awards.

Hosted by the City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division and Department of Neighborhoods, the conference, which is free for Fort Wayne residents, is designed to inspire residents with innovative ways to improve their neighborhoods. This year’s conference theme is “Resilience: Together We are Stronger.”
Prospective speakers should consider proposals that feature real stories, hard-earned lessons, and accessible tools that help neighborhood leaders sustain hope, navigate challenges, and support one another.
Residents may also submit nominations for the annual Inspire awards. Applications are open for the Neighborhood Association of the Year and the Neighborhood Leader of the year. The awards are designed to recognize and celebrate Fort Wayne’s grassroots and neighborhood association leaders in a total of six categories.
