COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – Officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) are reminding drivers to keep an eye out for potholes on the road as the Buckeye State starts to warm up from the deep freeze we saw the last several weeks.
ODOT says moisture that gets trapped under pavement can damage the surface during the kinds of freeze and thaw cycles that are happening right now. Potholes can then open up, causing hazards for motorists. Pavement issues on state-maintained routes can be reported at Transportation.Ohio.gov
