INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Governor Mike Braun says social media companies need to enact policies to better protect kids using their services.
Braun says he wants technology companies that profit from the platforms to take more responsibility as tips have sharply risen about child exploitation.
Hundreds of adults were arrested in Indiana last year for child exploitation. Lawmakers have revived a proposal to restrict the access of minors to social media.
