ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced traffic pattern changes at I-469 and U.S. 24.
On or after Tuesday, October 21, crews will be opening the newly constructed loop ramp from westbound U.S. 24 to southbound I-469.
INDOT released the following:
Crews will also be temporarily closing the eastbound U.S. 24 on-ramp to southbound I-469 to complete concrete paving on the nearby loop ramp from southbound I-469 to eastbound U.S. 24. During this closure, drivers needing to access southbound I-469 from eastbound U.S. 24 should use the loop ramps.
Drivers should use caution in this area while traffic adjusts to the traffic pattern changes.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution, and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
