DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of U.S. 6 near the state line with Ohio for a culvert replacement.
INDOT released the following:
Starting on or after October 20, crews will be replacing the culvert between C.R. 79 and the state line. Construction is expected to be complete within 45 days. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the official detour of State Road 1, State Road 427, Ohio State Route 34 and Ohio State Route 49, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
