ADAMS CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – A Jeep slammed into a horse-drawn buggy with nine people in it late Tuesday night in Adams County.
The sheriff’s office says seven people in the buggy were minors, and it happened just before 11:30 p.m. on State Route 218.
Police say the Jeep did not slow down and pass the buggy, and first responders “worked frantically” to treat those who were injured from the buggy.
A woman and her two-year-old son in the buggy were the only people who were not hurt.
