ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that there are traffic pattern changes at the interchange of I-469 and U.S. 24.
Overnight on Wednesday, crews opened the newly constructed off-ramp from southbound I-469 to U.S. 24/Rose Avenue.
INDOT released the following:
The existing southbound off-ramp from southbound I-469 to U.S. 24/Rose Avenue will temporarily close for concrete paving at the top of the ramp.
All traffic needing to exit southbound I-469 at this location will utilize the new off-ramp that will be controlled by a temporary traffic signal.
Traffic needing to enter southbound I-469 will utilize the existing on-ramp. The newly constructed loop ramp is anticipated to open by the end of October.
INDOT encourages drivers to utilize extra caution in the area while drivers adjust to the new traffic pattern. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
