The Fort Wayne Police Department will not contact you because you missed Jury duty. We will not ask you to get gift cards to pay a fine. Even if the call comes from a number you recognize as a police department number, it is 100% a scam. We are aware of the scam calls claiming to be from one of our sergeants coming from (260)427-1201, one of our numbers. When in doubt hang up call our non-emergency number at (260)427-1222.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is warning of a jury duty scam.
