Rates are consistent with rates at other City-owned garages and surface lots. Parking is free for the first 15 minutes and then $1/hour with a maximum daily rate of $8. Approximately 420 spaces are now open to the public for monthly and daily parkers. The garage offers convenient access to Headwaters Park events, the Arts Campus, Club Soda, and nearby businesses. The garage offers a total of 651 spaces with more than 200 reserved for residents and employees who will live and work at The Lofts development.
Until construction is complete on The Lofts at Headwaters Park, a $98 million mixed-use development at the northeast corner of Clinton and Superior streets, Barr Street will be one-way going north. Vehicles can enter the Lofts at Headwaters Garage off Barr Street and enter and exit the garage on Clinton Street.
The six-story mixed-use development includes apartments, town homes, retail space, and the parking garage. The mixed-use spaces are expected to open third quarter of 2026 and will bring about 350 new residents downtown.
