FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation says that due to current low river levels, the Sweet Breeze Canal Boat dock location will change until further notice.
Beginning with the tour on Tuesday, September 16, passengers will load and unload at the Headwaters Park West Dock rather than the Promenade Park South Dock. The boat dock is approximately 400 feet from the South Calhoun Street turnaround.
The following was released:
It is recommended that ticket holders arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to tour departure depending on time needed to walk to the dock. Passenger drop-off and pick-up via the Calhoun Street circle drive is encouraged.
Please note that parking is not available at the Calhoun Street circle drive. The two closest parking options are The Lofts at Headwaters Park Garage (5 on linked parking map), and The Riverfront at Promenade Park (25 on the linked parking map).
