WASHINGTON D.C. (ADAMS) – Indiana Republican lawmakers met with President Trump at the White House on Tuesday as the Trump administration pushes for the state to undertake a redistricting effort.
Dozens of Indiana Republicans met with officials, including Trump and Vice President Vance. Indiana may become the next state to redraw its congressional maps to favor more Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
A recent poll shows that most Hoosiers oppose the idea.
The Indiana General Assembly is controlled by the GOP.

WASHINGTON D.C. (ADAMS) – Indiana Republican lawmakers are reportedly set to meet with President Trump at the White House. Several reports say that although Tuesday’s event was pre-planned to discuss “the President’s agenda,” the topic of redistricting will no doubt come up.
Indiana may become the next state to redraw its congressional maps to favor more Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The Indiana General Assembly is controlled by the GOP.
