ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced several projects that could impact your commute.
There will be new bridge work on U.S. 27 and S.R. 930. Additionally, a stretch of S.R. will close for rescheduled work.
INDOT released the following on each project:
Access to temporarily close at S.R. 3 and Cedar Canyons Rd.
INDOT announces a road closure as part of ongoing construction on State Road 3.
Starting on or after July 14, access to and from S.R. 3 and the eastern side of W. Cedar Canyons Road will close. The closure is expected to last until the end of August. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers will need to seek an alternate route.

Bridge construction to begin on S.R. 930
INDOT announces bridge construction on State Road 930/Coliseum Boulevard in Fort Wayne.
Starting on or after July 14, crews will be working on bridge joint repairs over Spy Run Creek between Sherman Boulevard and Executive Boulevard. Work on the project is expected to last for approximately two weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, the current westbound lanes of S.R. 930 will be closed, and the middle turn lane will be converted into one through travel lane for westbound traffic.

U.S. 27 bridge joint repair to begin
INDOT announces bridge construction on U.S. 27 near I-469.
Starting on or after July 14, crews will be working on bridge joint repairs in the left lane of southbound U.S. 27 between E. Ferguson Road and Thompson Road. Work on the project is expected to last for approximately two weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, southbound U.S. 27 will be reduced to one lane in the area.
