FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is asking for help in finding a vehicle and whoever was driving it on Sunday when it struck a pedestrian on the city’s southwest side.
The FWPD says the 2015 Chevy Cruz left the intersection of Scott and Illinois around 1 a.m. after striking and critically injuring a pedestrian.
Police say the Chevy will likely have front end damage and has a plate reading 998 EDZ.

WITH INDIANA PLATE 998EDZ.
THE PEDESTRIAN THAT WAS INJURED IS CURRENTLY IN AN INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AT A LOCAL
HOSPITAL SUFFERING FROM MULTIPLE FRACTURES AND INTERNAL INJURIES.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BLUE 2015 4DR CHEVY CRUZ IN 998EDZ EXPECTED TO HAVE FRONT
END DAMAGE, HOOD DAMAGE, AND WINDSHIELD DAMAGE.
