INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) said it is reorganizing, effective July 1, and as many as 40 employees could lose their jobs. The move was announced Friday to eliminate three layers of management.
DCS director Adam Krupp says children won’t be put at risk because the impacted jobs “are not the folks on the front line.” He says they are getting rid of middle and upper management to give family case managers a more direct line to authority.
