DEKALB, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that there will be ramp closures on I-69 starting Friday.
Starting on or after 6 p.m. on May 30, crews will close the southbound on and off ramps at Exit 329, State Road 8. Crews will be working on concrete patching on I-69.
The ramps are expected to reopen by 7 a.m. on June 2. Work will take place again from the evening of June 6 to the morning of June 9. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT released the following:
During the closures, drivers needing to access S.R. 8 from southbound I-69 should continue south on I-69 to Exit 326, exit the interstate and re-enter heading north to utilize northbound Exit 329. Drivers needing to head south on I-69 from S.R. 8 should head north on I-69, exit the interstate at Exit 334 and then re-enter the interstate heading south. Motorists may also seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
