INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun’s office says “all potential options” are being considered for toll roads in the state. Some Hoosier officials are hoping to get ahead of impending funding shortfalls.
Braun’s Chief of Staff Josh Kelley says tolling “has to be considered to maintain our current and future infrastructure.”
Currently, only Interstate 90 in northern Indiana charges tolls. Build Indiana Council Executive Director Brian Gould says the process to add tolls to other highways, such as I-70, needs to move forward.
