UPDATE (May 13, 2025):
The Fort Wayne Police Department says that an arrest has been made in a shooting last Thursday that left a man with critical injuries. The FWPD says that 44-year-old Andre Lee was taken into custody on Monday off West Coliseum and booked into the Allen County Jail.
The FWPD released the following:
On May 8, 2025, at approximately 1931 hours, FWPD Officers responded to the 4300 block of E. State Blvd in reference to a male adult victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The male adult victim was determined to be in life threatening condition and was transported to an area trauma hospital. FWPD Homicide Detectives conducted a criminal follow-up investigation, and Andre Lee was identified as the suspect of the shooting. On May 12, 2025, the Homicide Task Force took Andre Lee 44yo into custody in the 3300 block of W. Coliseum Blvd without incident. Andre Lee is preliminary charged with Attempted Murder and Aggravated Battery and is currently confined at the Allen County Jail.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting at a home in the 4300 block of East State Boulevard Thursday night..
The shots were reportedly fired around 7:30 p.m., and one person suffered injuries. Their condition, as well as any information on the suspect, has not been released.
