ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that there will be more work to look out for on I-69.
Starting on or after May 12, crews will be working between Coldwater Road and Branstrator Road on concrete patching and joint repair. Work will take place in the southbound lanes of I-69 throughout the construction season.
INDOT released the following:
Crews will begin work by closing the exit ramp from southbound I-69 to northbound State Road 3/Lima Road to complete work on the interstate.
This closure is expected to last for a week. During this closure, drivers needing to access northbound S.R. 3 should continue south on I-69 to the U.S. 30/Goshen Road exit, utilize the loop ramps and head north on I-69 and exit at the S.R. 3/Lima Road exit, or seek an alternate route.
Work on the overall project is expected to last until November. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
More ramp closures are expected as part of this work but will be announced at a later date.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
