FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – PBS Fort Wayne officials say they are preparing for the worst after President Trump ceased federal funding for public broadcasting last Thursday.
CEO and president Bruce Haines says they will lose $990,000 of their $3.5 million budget.
Haines says when that is combined with the recently passed state of Indiana budget, they are facing 40 percent of their funding vanishing. He calls the money “irreplaceable,” and says they “can’t just raise money from more viewers.”
