INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Flags are being flown at half-staff in Indiana after the death of Pope Francis. Governor Mike Braun announced Monday that flags would be lowered as a mark of respect for the memory of His Holiness Pope Francis, who died at age 88 on Monday.
Governor Braun ordered the flag lowered yesterday, “as a mark of respect for the memory of His Holiness Pope Francis.”
Braun says flags will remain at half-staff until the day of interment for the Pope. State officials are asking businesses and citizens to also lower their flags.
