INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s projected revenue for the next budget cycle is $2 billion lower than the last forecast by economists. The new outlook was released Wednesday and also shows the 2025 fiscal year is $400 million short.
Indiana’s tax revenue is not growing at the rate economists had expected. State Senator Ryan Mishler says everything is on the table for tax increases on alcohol, cigarettes, and gambling.
