INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith has a new 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country SUV that cost taxpayers almost $88,000.
The Indianapolis Star reported the purchase was made in February a short time before Beckwith’s office put out a release about spending cuts made by the office.
The lieutenant governor’s office won’t renew nearly $150,000 in contracts for professional development and more. Beckwith says he believes in “fiscal responsibility” and ensuring “taxpayer money is going to essential services to Hoosiers.”
