INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Health and local health departments are dealing with an estimated $40 million in federal funding cuts.
IDOH communications officer Greta Sanderson says they are “working to minimize the impact to Hoosiers.”
The Trump administration is pulling back $11.4 billion across the country. Much of the money was used for COVID-19 testing, vaccinations, addressing COVID health disparities, and for community health workers.
