FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Two people are in custody this evening following a shooting Sunday on Broadway.
The Fort Wayne Police Department says that officers were called to the 2500 block of Broadway around 4 p.m. when a fight had escalated.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that one of the individuals involved, 32-year-old Rudaeja Moore, had suffered a gunshot wound to a lower extremity and was transported to the hospital. During the investigation, police interviewed the other individual, 34-year-old Andrew Scott-Guyton.
Police said it appeared one other had an axe, and the other had a gun. Both Moore and Scott-Guyton were arrested.
Moore faces charges of criminal recklessness, two counts of domestic battery, invasion of privacy, and criminal mischief. Scott-Guyton is charged with criminal recklessness.

On Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) were dispatched to 2500 block of Broadway in response to a disturbance involving an armed individual. Shortly after, dispatch informed officers that a shooting had occurred at the location. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of an altercation. One of the individuals involved, later identified as Rudaeja Moore, sustained a gunshot wound to a lower extremity. She was driven to a local hospital as officers arrived at the dispatched location. As the investigation progressed, officers interviewed the other party involved, later identified as Andrew Scott-Guyton. Preliminary findings indicate that the altercation escalated, with one individual wielding an axe and the other a handgun. Both Moore and Scott-Guyton were subsequently arrested on the charges listed below. This incident remains under investigation by the FWPD and by the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
