INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun says he might veto Senate Bill 1, which is what is left of his property tax plan after the Senate made large changes to it this month.
It is in the state House now, and Braun says it is up to Speaker Todd Huston to make changes that would “please Hoosiers and local governments.”
He says his administration has had “more collaboration with the Legislature than we’ve seen in a long, long time,” and says he is confident they will negotiate a solution to the bill.
