COLUMBUS, Ohio (ADAMS) – Recreational marijuana sales began in Ohio just six months ago, and the state has already raked in $319 million as a result.
Officials say that number doesn’t include the billions that have been made on medicinal sales.
Governor Mike DeWine, however, wants to raise that number even higher with a ten-to-20 percent hike in the marijuana sales tax in 2026.
