INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The House Ways and Means Committee is considering a budget bill that would make school choice universal in Indiana. The measure puts $19 billion into tuition support for K through 12 students.
It removes income limits allowing any Indiana family to use state funds to attend any school, public or private, through the Choice Scholarship Program.
The Indiana House Speaker aims to have a budget plan passed by the end of next week.
