INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – State lawmakers are advancing a measure that would clarify that fentanyl test strips are legal in Indiana.
The House Courts and Criminal Code Committee looked at a bill authored by Representative Jennifer Metzler this week. The committee unanimously voted to send the bill to the House floor to be considered.
If passed, the bill would make an exception in paraphernalia law to allow items marketed to detect the presence of a drug or controlled substance, including field test kits and test strips.
