INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Around 61 percent of Indiana’s registered voters cast a ballot in the November election.
The state says nearly three million people voted, with the number being down nearly 100,000 from 2020, but better than 2012 and 2016.
University of Indianapolis political science professor Laura Merrifield Wilson says one reason for the lower voter turnout was people were uninspired to make their voices heard.
