FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is seeking information about the person or persons responsible for injuring two cats.
The cats were found hurt and bleeding when concerned citizens contacted FWACC. The cats were found in the 2500 block of Winch Street and the 3400 block of Central Drive last week.
Both cats received radiographs to determine the extent of their injuries. With imaging, it was clear that the wounds were caused by bullets, likely from a pellet type or similar gun. FWACC says that amputation was required. The cats are now in the care of shelter staff.
